It is one of the foundations of our program. Survivors of any kind of traumatic experience healing together in a safe and caring environment do regain their dignity and self-sufficiency at a more progressed rate. As women who share common experiences, they can come to the groups and feel accepted, as well as be accepting of one another. Also, learning together brings a sense of cohesiveness and the ability to satisfy their own need through interaction with other women. All of the groups and classes combine a variety of methods. We utilize audio/visual, outside speakers and art amongst others.
